Course Description: The 2-day Introduction to the AR-15 / M-4 Rifle Certification Course is a comprehensive 2-day firearms training course that introduces the student to the AR-15 / M-4 rifle. During this course, students will learn how to operate one of the most prolific weapon systems used for personal defense by civilians and law enforcement officers across the country!

Students will become familiarized with the AR-15 / M-4 rifle and will learn the basic gun-handling skills that are necessary to safely operate and maintain this weapon system.

Students will also learn about nomenclature, disassembly / reassembly, mechanical operation, care & cleaning, preventive maintenance, zeroing iron sights & electronic sights, shooting positions and much more.

Post-Incident Legal Defense Support: This training curriculum meets ILETSB training standards. Curriculum materials; lesson plan, course itinerary, syllabus with SPO’s, student performance records, instructor certification credentials and list of supporting reference materials are available for post-incident legal defense depositions and legal defense litigation discovery.
